• What is Silk’n Bright Lux?

  Silk’n Bright Lux is a 4-in-1 silicone facial cleansing brush that deep cleanses and massages the skin, and also comes with anti-ageing and skin improvement benefits. It removes dirt and makeup residue in seconds, unclogs pores, gently exfoliates the skin, improves blood circulation and helps promote the absorption of skin care products. And thanks to the LED light (red, blue, yellow, purple), Near-Infrared technology and cooling function, it is able to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, help with acne-related redness and stimulate collagen.

• Why should I clean my face with a facial cleansing brush?

  When you cleanse your skin with your hands, it is often not thoroughly cleansed. Traces of dirt and makeup are still left behind in the pores. Silk'n Bright Lux is different. It cleanses more effectively and removes 5x more makeup than with hands alone, leaving you with deeply-cleansed, smooth and radiant skin.

• Why should I use a silicone face brush?

  Compared to facial cleansing brushes that have a microfibre brush head, Silk'n Bright Lux has long and ultrasoft silicone studs. Silicone resists the build-up of bacteria and ensures an ultra-hygienic treatment. In addition, Silk'n Bright Lux also saves you money as there is no need to purchase refill brush heads ever again.

• What is the difference between the front and back side?

  The front side is provided with ultrasoft silicone studs for deep cleansing purposes. The thinner studs are for gentle cleansing and the thicker studs are suitable for more precise cleansing, specially meant for hard to reach areas like around the nose, eyes and chin.
  The back side is provided with 4 different coloured LED lights, Near-Infrared technology and cooling. With the LED light and Near-Infrared technology you can improve the skin by reducing fine lines and getting tighter skin. The cooling function is ideal to use in the morning, when you have puffy eyes. You can also use the back side to massage your favourite serum or day/night cream into the skin, helping it to penetrate deeper.

• What are the benefits of each LED light colour?

  Red LED light (633nm) + Near-Infrared (850nm) – reduces fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen and helps to improve blood circulation.
  Blue LED light (463nm) + Near-Infrared (850nm) – reduces acne-related redness and imperfections for clearer skin.
  Yellow LED light (592nm) + Near-Infrared (850nm) – improves skin hydration and soothes dry, sensitive skin.
  Purple LED light (463-633nm) + Near-Infrared (850nm) – anti-ageing and reduction of skin imperfections to improve the skin’s vitality and radiance.

• What is the benefit of Near-Infrared technology?

  Near-Infrared technology can reach another and deeper layer of the skin compared to a single LED light. It repairs the skin from the inside out, tackles fine lines and improves blood circulation.

• What is the benefit of the cooling surface?

  The cooling surface reaches a temperature of 6±3◦C and is ideal for use in the morning when the eyes are a bit puffy. Massage the area in horizontal linear movements for the reduction of swelling and the appearance of dark circles. It will help give you a brighter look.

• On which areas can it be used?

  Silk'n Bright Lux can be used on your forehead, nose, chin, cheeks and neck.

• How do I use it?

  Splash your face with lukewarm water, wet the facial brush and apply face wash to the areas you would like to cleanse. Turn on the device, choose the vibration mode and a speed setting, and slowly move it over the different facial areas in upward, circular movements. Cleanse every area (forehead, nose, chin, left cheek, right cheek, neck) not more than 20 seconds.
  Want to treat your face with the backside of the Bright Lux? Make sure the face is clean and free of any dirt or makeup residue. Turn the device on with the button on the back side of the device and choose the desired LED mode. Move the device over the desired area in circular movements.

• Can I use it under the shower or while taking a bath?

  Yes, Silk'n Bright Lux is waterproof. It can be used in the shower and while taking a bath.

• How many settings does it have?

  For the cleansing feature, the Bright Lux is equipped with a vibrating and a pulsating mode. Each mode has 7 speed settings. The vibrating mode uses uniform vibrations for gentle deep cleansing. The pulsating mode uses alternating strong and weak vibrations for a massage-like soothing effect.
  The anti-ageing and skin improvement function is equipped with 5 different modes. Each mode contains a different combination of technologies.
  - Mode 1: Red LED light + Infrared
  - Mode 2: Blue LED light + Infrared
  - Mode 3: Yellow LED light + Infrared
  - Mode 4: Purple LED light + Infrared
  - Mode 5: Red LED light + Infrared + cooling

• How long does one cleansing session take?

  One cleansing session will take no more than 2 minutes. Silk'n Bright Lux also has an auto shut-off timer which allows the device to shut off automatically, indicating the end of your cleansing session. It will ensure that you don't exceed the maximum time and prevents you from getting irritated skin.

• How long does one LED session and cooling session take?

  One LED light session will take no more than 10 minutes. The cooling session will take no more than 2 minutes, during which you will treat both the left and right eye area. The Silk'n Bright Lux also has an auto-shut-off timer which allows the device to shut off automatically after the session has ended. If you prefer to end the session prematurely, just long-press the button.

• How many times can I use Bright Lux on one full charge?

  This device can be used up to 36 hours on one single charge, when using the front side. When using the back side the device can be used op to 17.5 hours.

• Does it work on batteries?

  No, Silk'n Bright Lux does not work on batteries. It comes with a USB cable which charges the device in a few hours.

• Is it suitable for daily use?

  Yes, it is gentle enough for daily use. However, we recommend you not to use it more than twice a day.

• Can I buy new brushes?

  No, Silk'n Bright Lux works without refill brush heads. Because the facial brush is made of hygienic silicone studs, you can use Silk'n Bright Lux over and over again.

• I have sensitive skin. Can I use it too?

  Yes! Compared to its predecessor, the Silk'n Bright Lux is provided with even softer silicone studs which makes it perfect for any skin type, even the most sensitive skin types.

• Can I lock the device?

  Yes, the Silk'n Bright Lux has a travel lock feature. Press the + and - button on the front side of the device at the same time and hold it for 3 seconds. It will lock the device. Now you can safely bring the Silk'n Bright Lux with you while travelling without having to worry about the device turning on unintentionally.
